This could be a good thing, though I am sick of DKP. I understand the reasoning behind that system, it does not take into account that sometimes the person with the least dkp needs the item more, as it is a HUGE upgrade for them. There is no good system, IMHO, for raiding. It would be nice if there was some way to just use need/greed. Ninjas happen and suck like hell, but it is, after all, only a game. If there was a way to work it without DKP, I would totally be behind the idea. Maybe just let each group figure out its own loot rules. Takes a little extra time in the beginning, but is often worth it. Anyway, that is my 2c worth.

I agree with ya, I hate DKP too...maybe we can make our own system, using like GBP instead (George Bath Points) or something...

most of the time, problems like the item being a much larger upgrade for a player with lower dkp, are worked out within the class. in my old guild, each class had a chat channel, and we discussed who wanted what and why before we announced who wanted to spend their dkp on certain items. but this will only work if everyone is mature and not greedy about stuff like this.

Sometimes that would work, wish the last guild I did runs with worked it in that manner. If we can all agree to do so, within the entire alliance, then this would be a wonderful thing for Malfurion. Hope something works out soon. Itching to get my warrior back into ZG so I can work on getting what I need for my Uber Belt ;-)
